odd-school

Odd-school is a project created by a group of professionals with vast experience in the field, amongst which is the production company Até ao Fim do Mundo.

Odd-School has as its main goal the development of the digital entertainment market in Portugal. Focusing in areas such as animation, games, the web and broadcast, we created an educational methodology based on the job market. Hence, the student is prepared since the beginning to deal with the actual pressures of the industry.

Teaching Methodology

Odd-School emerges in the context of approaching the real needs of the business market, having as its main objective the training of qualified professionals able to meet the current requirements of the job market.

In an unique environment where students are treated as professionals, they are encouraged to create their own success. Only ambition, commitment and desire to achieve the goals they set themselves, dictate the results. It is essential that the student has time, dedication and an awareness that errors are part of this evolution process. There is an approximation of the student to professionals and international artists, as it is a way to realize that there are no unachievable goals and that with work anything is possible.

Odd-School’s culture keeps a clear focus on the labor market, the characteristics, essential skills and requirements necessary to meet the needs of the digital entertainment industry in Portugal. Nevertheless, the whole team works and evolves with the aim of producing quality work that will meet the standards and demands of the international industry as well.

In the foundation courses students will learn to master basic work tools with aptitude and confidence. These courses are focused on the ground skills and techniques essentials to progress to more advanced courses.
